Join Docomomo US to Tour Kahn in Exeter, NH!
Plan accordingly, we’re touring the Louis Kahn-designed library at Exeter, which is no longer open to the public, on Tuesday, March 18, the day before the PRP4 conference starts. Depart Boston by bus Tuesday morning, then enjoy lunch and a mid-day tour of Exeter’s notable Modern and recent past buildings, starting with the iconic library, then continuing to Elm Street Dining Hall (also by Kahn, with recent work by Annum Architects), the George H. Love Athletic Facility (KMW Architecture, 1970), and the Goel Center for Theater and Dance (Tod Williams Billie Tsien, 2018). We will return to Boston to end the day with a reception at a special location.
