Houston Mod, a Docomomo US friend organization, is proud to announce its latest publication, After Alden Mid-Century Architecture in Brazosport, Texas by Marty Merritt.

Merritt, a Houston Mod board member, has spent several years painstakingly researching and writing this full-color catalog showcasing the unique modern designs of Lake Jackson and the surrounding areas.

Join Houston Mod at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum for an inaugural book talk and signing event. The Lake Jackson Historical Museum site includes the the fully restored and recreated 1943 office Alden B. Dow used to design the city of Lake Jackson’s buildings and winding streets.

Books will be available for purchase at the event for $35. Light refreshments will be served.
