Mills + Schnoering Architects, LLC is a full service architectural firm dedicated to design that contributes meaningfully to the built environment, and to the preservation of significant historic structures that reflect their time, place, and cultural associations. Our work is focused on cultural buildings of all types, including theatres and museums; public buildings; campus planning and design; and the preservation and rehabilitation of historic buildings, with a particular focus on the restoration and adaptive use of mid-century Modern structures. Founded in 1972, Morphosis is an interdisciplinary practice involved in rigorous design and research that yields innovative, iconic buildings and urban environments. Committed to the practice of architecture as a collaborative enterprise, Partners Arne Emerson, Ung-Joo Scott Lee, Brandon Welling, and Eui-Sung Yi lead a team of more than 80 in Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, Seoul, and Shanghai, in collaboration with founder and Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne. 

MacDonald & Mack has been a leader and innovator in the historic preservation movement since our founding in 1976. In our forty-plus years of practice, we've worked on iconic structures across the USA, including more than a dozen National Historic Landmarks and over 500 properties on the National Register of Historic Places.

FAI Architects (formerly Fung Associates, Inc.) is an award winning design firm with projects encompassing architecture, master planning, interiors, sustainable design, and historic preservation. FAI is also a leader in the preservation, study, and treatment of Hawaii's wide range of architecture, particularly the mid-century Modern Movement.

w.Erk studio is based in Lincoln, Massachusetts, drawing upon experience working on projects ranging in scale from furniture to skyscrapers. The work of the studio is rooted in connection to place and work across Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Urban, and Landscape design. We work collaboratively with art and artists and offer art advisory services that include helping to select, coordinate, and appropriately present artworks of all sizes and scales, including painting, sculpture, and bespoke installations. Our design philosophy is rooted in creation's patient search.

We are a nonprofit membership organization whose mission is to work through education and advocacy to recognize, preserve, and revitalize the historic, architectural, and cultural resources of Los Angeles County.

Founded in 1978 to save the Central Library in downtown L.A. from demolition, we have the largest membership of any local preservation organization in the United States.

Modernism Week celebrates and fosters appreciation of midcentury architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields, by encouraging education, preservation and sustainable modern living as represented in the greater Palm Springs area.
